Just a good basic unit that is flexible. Bought this to use to copy VHS to DVD. Not a high end unit but anyone serious about recording these days should be looking at DVD recorders. This is a great unit for playing existing VHS in you collection or as a machine to copy. Has an S-video out which is what I was looking for to give just a little better picture going to my DVD. [...]
