This is in no way the best camera out there. But, it costs under $[...]and the others do not. Great features including, limited manual controls, automatic, easy to use menus, good picture quality, and 4x zoom. The only downside id the small LCD.

The camera takes great pictures, but the included software did not properly install for me. I had to use other programs. I can still edit my pictures without the software included by Canon. The camera takes great closeups (macro shots).

Liked I indicated above, this is a very good little personal camera for the not so professional. But, improving the power/battery system would be a great product feature plus.

Good bang for the buck

I listed the AA as being a negative, but it can go either way. If you travel overseas a lot, its easier to replace batteries. The downside is the camera burns through both AA batteries faster than a lithium ion or NiMH battery would go. The rubber gasket on the side covering the USB is also pretty flimsy. It does come with a 1yr parts/labor warranty where others have a 1yr parts and 90 days labor. Pictures turned out great at 4x6.
