The image stabilizer is what makes this product far better than any canon digital camera. Pictures don't turn out blurry because you accidentally moved while hitting the capture button. It also has the viewfinder which is lacking on the SD630, so that even with direct sunlight shining on the lcd screen you will be able to still use the viewfinder.
