This is my first digital camera. My Son bought the Cannon SD 700 but agreed with me that for the extra price in my case $[...] it was worth getting the image stabilization feature plus the wide angle lens. Also the case is a upgrade from the SD700.

Very handy size. Easy to manage the controls even with it's small size. I haven't found a shot I can't get. Canon's IS feature has helped to make my pictures better. The picture clarity is very impressive.

This is my 4th Canon SD elph and I love this one. I chose this one over the new elph with the 3" LCD because the wide angle lens seemed like a better option. Small, seems rugged enough, looks nice, so far so good.

The camera is excellent. The blend of compactness, good LCD display, and the Image Stabilization is great. And the picture quality is perfect. I am a DSLR user but I wanted a smaller camera to carry in my pocket for those at the spur of the moment pictures and when carrying a DSLR does not lend itself. The only gripe I have is that sometimes if I am not paying attention while I am holding the camera, such as when I am trying to play with my baby, I accidently press the buttons on the bottom right. But thats just a minor issue.

I bought this camera in 3 weeks ago; this is my first digital camera; I have compared many brands, still Canon is my best choice, I love its design and quality. Everything is perfect, except the zoom, I hoped they have 25x in total zoom.
