My husband and I ar using the camera for lots of outdoor landscape and wildlife photos. We bought the package plus a telephoto lens. It's giving us terrific shots in all settings. We use it on manual a lot for seascape and sunset shots because the flash pops up when you don't want it to. The photo quality has been great. Couldn't believe the detail we got taking shots of dark sea caves seen from a distance while on the ocean in a boat.

I use this product to photograph landscapes as well as people. The camera has a good feel to it. Solid yet light. The photos come out really clear and the cycles are quick. Overall a really great camera. It has the features of the Mark series but at a great price. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to take breathtaking photos without breaking the bank.

I was looking at Canon 7D but it was a bit expensive. This camera has similar features and is a great value. I've taken over 400 pictures with it so far and they are incredible. I would definitely recommend this camera.

I love this camera and it is also my first dslr so I thought I should start somewhere nice and easy. This is a really great camera and I understood each function in about a week or so now i love it soo much. also compact and good to make films if you are into t with its full hd function with 24p and 30p
In about a week I received it, I was really happy and had doubts about buying it here but now i am vouching for abt electronics.

Absolutely everything I thought it would be!
Get the Canon EF-S 55-250mm Zoom Lens with it. The lens it comes with is good but if you plan to do any outdoor shooting you'll love the results with the extra lens. You won't be sorry!

I've had a busy few months. I've tested and compared the following cameras looking for the best price/performance ratio...
1) The Canon 50D (excellent performer, no video mode)
2) The Canon 7D (excellent performer, VERY expensive, big, bulky, heavy)
3) The Nikon D90 (excellent performer, lousy video mode, heavy, decent low-light performance)
4) The Canon T2i (excellent performer, excellent video, much-lighter and portable than other cameras in higher price range)
I decided on the T2i because of it's extreme value and portability. Look, I have a family and we do a fair amount of traveling and last-minute "photo opps". Lugging a 7D around or even a D90 was just too cumbersome. The quality of the higher priced cameras is instantly noticeable (build quality) but I chose to forego some of that build quality for the T2i.
The T2i has the best image quality of the bunch (next to the 7D) as well as an unbelievably wonderful video mode (matched to 7D).
I wouldn't hesitate to buy this camera - the kit lens is "ok" but I would recommend upgrading to the Tamron 17-50 VC f2.8. The clarity of this third party lens is awesome and it's low-light easily beats out the Canon lens.

Our first jump the SLR realm and boy did we pick the right one! This camera does it all, but is easy enough to use for someone coming from the powershot point and shoot series. A few extra books were needed to really understand all the functions of the camera, but it takes gorgeous professional grade photos in automatic mode or any of the "creative" modes. We bought the telephoto 55-200mm lens and the 430II flash which makes the possibilities endless. Can't wait to take it on our next vacation and come back with some amazing shots!
The video option is also fantastic as you can take pictures while video is recording! This is fantastic for videos of children, scenery etc. We were debating on the D90, Xsi, T1i and found that we liked the lighter feel of the canon models and that if we are getting a great body, might as well go for the best sensor out there at the moment, and this does not disappoint! Would buy again, in fact if we get good with amateur photography, we may get another so the two of us don't fight over who gets to use it!!
