We just purchased the Lumix DMCTZ1S digital camara several weeks ago and could not be more pleased. We travel a lot so the 10X Optical zoom, along with 5 megapixal resolution, were two of the most attractive features. The large 2.5" LCD display, simple controls and Very Reasonable Price rounded out the key reasons for our selecting this camara.

We found most of the controls and features we will use on a regular basis very easy to understand and access and mastered most of them in less than one day. We also discovered a raft of additional features and modes, many of which might prove useful during our travel adventures, that we have yet to try. The good news is, they are not "required" to master the camara and they do not get in the way when you are trying to keep it simple and shoot everyday pictures.

Picture quality is excellent and the zoom feature with the 10X optical zoom is everything we hoped it would be. The camara has an excellent "feel"; not to small, not to big and the battery/memory stick buldge on the one side makes a perfect and comfortable hand grip. The LCD display is easy to see and use when taking or reviewing pictures or seeing what functions you have selected.

Finally, we have directly interfaced the camara to our HDTV, computer and printer and all were simple to master. Being able to interface with each or any combination of devices allows us to pretty much create any type of media presentation we would ever use.

In summary, this camara is everything we expected and a whole lot more! If you want a camara that is easy to use, takes great pictures and will help you comfortably move into the digital age: This is it!
