I had this camera and loved it. Lots of nice distinct feature that were different that most other cameras that I've seen.
We did have to send in for service becuase the lens casing was stuck open. Very difficult to get warranty service and Samsungs website does not make it any easier. It was fixed and worked again for a while but then the same problem recurred. We have made the decision to not fix (warranty is up) and go with a more durable camera.
If you are very cautious with how you handle you'll probably be fine, but if you plan to have for everyday use and are on the go, this might not be the best option for you.

It is a pretty good camera. I bought it because you can set the aperture and speed if you like, and because it had a true wide angle. DO remember to fully charge the battery FIRST however. I had to buy a replacement battery because the original only holds charge for about half an hour. But that was my fault.
