Lacking speed of older Cybershots

Comments about Sony Sony DSC-S2100 Orange Cyber-Shot Digital Camera:
I have two older Cybershot cameras, both of which focus quite quickly, ensuring I don't "lose that shot." With the Intelligent Auto Mode, the camera takes too long to pick a mode, and then focus on the subject. It's a great idea, but the implementation is not up to the standards I've come to expect from Sony cameras.
Other than that, it's a fine little point and shoot camera.
