I wanted to get a camera that had 720 HD capabilities, large 7x and up Zoom, Carl Zeis Glass lens, and high in MegaPixel.This camera definitely fits the bill. 10x Zoom, 14.1 Megapixel. I love the HD quality when I shoot videos and upload them on YouTube. It was very easy to upload and edit on iMovie (Mac).The Sweep Panorama is incredible. The process time to put together the image is really fast and immediate! I love the Manual Option to set you own settings, and the Easy mode for quick shots without having to mess around with the settings. At 14.1 Mp the pictures are great quality.Con:- I shot a lot of HD video and the battery life is short because I also playback each shot I take. Not necessarily a Con because of How I use it. But Considering this Sony H55 covers all the Pros that I was looking for, buying an extra battery is not so bad.Overall great buy and thank god the price went down $50. I would have paid that if I would have bought this a month prior to.
