The only thing I did not like is that you have to keep choosing wireless conection on the tv set, and that makes it longer than expected to go thru the process of conecting and getting the info. so I don't use it as much as I thought I would.

The product stopped working after a few days. Called Samsung for replacement or repair. Too many steps just to replace something so small, and I'm sure mass produced very cheaply. Should have been replaced promptly, since just purchased. Samaung usually has very good service and products, not this time.
Delivery was prompt. Customer service was great. Very satisfied with ABT.

This item works but the Samsung television does not remember the wireless connection. Every time I turn on the TV I have to go into the menu and reconnect.
Also If you have Direct TV you can use the "active" button on the remote and get basically the same information without using Samsung Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter.

This adapter links you to weather reports, news, and stock quotes very quickly. I have a 50 inch Samsung Plasma and the firmware is designed to do this.
You can use other means to get the above but who knows what modifications to firmware Samsung will make creating even more information links.
I have no Cons it works great.

Nice to have an internet-connected television with weather forecasts. I use this with a Samsung LN46A750 and Linksys wireless router - works great. The news is a little cumbersome to read with this technology (that's more of a review for the TV itself) but love the weather! Overall, no complaints for this toy.

As per all the information available and the instructions it was that easy to plug-in and configure. The signal strength is very good and now we can forget that it is there.
Hopefully Samsung will increase what you can do with the internet connection since that is limited. It would be nice to be able to check for firmware updates directly too.

Bought this wireless receiver with greater expectation of its usefulness; however, it is ONLY for receiving News, Weather & Stock Market updates on a new Samsung TV (I believe it has to be an LNxx850 or LNxx860 Model (xx=screen size) - which it does very well. User can set options & location for weather reports. I check it daily for market report and weather report.

Fun as a toy. Too expensive for what you get, but works great and VERY easy to set up and fun to play with. Took only a couple of minutes with my Link-Sys router. Tried on my Dlink router and couldn't get it to work.

Good product. Easy to install - just inserted it, followed the instructions in the TV manual, and minutes later I was streaming news, weather, etc. No complaints.
This product is hard to find in stock anywhere. Even though ABT indicated it was back-ordered, it shipped right away and I received it a few days after I ordered it. Nice surprise since I thought I was going to have to wait weeks for it.

I have been on the Phone several times with Samsung already. I am using this product with the LN-46A650 TV. It works well after it is configured but every time I power off the TV, the TV reverts back to "Network" instead of "Wireless" for its data source. You must then go through the configuration for Wireles adapter.

USB wireless seldom connects reliably to services when I turn on TV. When it does works I get my stocks and news just fine. You are supposed to recieve Stock News and Weather in different formats on the TV you choose. I always have issue with the weather feed when it does connect. Nice to have but terribly unreliable in wireless perspective.

This nifty little device allows you to view news, weather, and stock information via USAToday on your Samsung series 6 or higher LCD TV. I only use the weather portion to get a quick glance at what the 5-day forcast says. It was an easy plug-n-play setup since I use DHCP in my wireless router. My only gripe (and this is probably the way Samsung wanted it) is that you cannot update the TV's software with this device. Seems kind of goofy to allow the TV net access, but not allow it to update TV software via the net. Oh well, it serves my purpose of seeing the weather forcast on my TV via wireless net connection.

Just pop the device (called a dongle, actually) into the side of your Samsung TV. Be sure you own a model which will work with this device. Not all of them do. Make sure you have a wireless router and turn it on. Then, go through a 5-minute setup routine on the TV and voila! You can view RSS feeds for certain websites (Weather Channel, USA Today[@], etc.) right on your TV.
There was a delay in delivery because the item was out of stock. Still, I received the item within about two weeks. Very reasonable.

It is a neat little gadget to have, but the information that you can retrieve with it isn't special, I am surprised that it wasn't built into the set to start with, If it were a $10-$15 item I would say get it just for the cool factor, but for [$] it just doesn't deliver enough bang for the buck. With that being said, functionally I have had absolutely no trouble with it, I plugged it in connected to my network and started using it.
I have nothing but praise for the people here at ABT, my order was processed and delivered quickly and I got emails updating my status, I intend to shop here again.

I bought this product in order to use my Samsung HDTV to its full potential - actually using the InfoLink function. I plugged the key into the back of the TV and it was easily installed within a few minutes.It has decent signal strength with my very old router, so I have no complaints. It was also a steal [$] and made much more sense then running ethernet cable through the house - definitely worth the labor savings!

It was very easy to install. Make sure you already have a working wireless network prior to using/installing this device.
It took a while before this device became available. Prior to purchasing this, I was using a WiFi access point in the 'client' mode but that required the use the the network cable, connecting that unit to an outlet etc etc. This little unit, which resembles one of those storage "thumb drives', plugs into the side of the TV and thats it -no other connections are needed. You may need to update the TV's firmware, which can be downloaded from Samsung's website. There, you'll also find detailed instructions on how to update the TV's firmware as well as a guide for how to configure this little device. TV manual should be used as reference, when installing this device.

I still need to make yet another call to Samsung's technical support to get this to work. The first problem I had was that the wireless setup options did not appear in my TV's settings menus. Samsung Tech Support informed me that the firmware on my TV needed updated. I found the firmware update on Samsung's web site fairly easily, but I could not get it to work by downloading it onto a flash drive using my Mac at home; I had to wait until I got to work the next day to use a Windows machine for this procedure. So now I've updated the firmware (the wireless setup options now appear), and the wireless USB 2.0 adapter is seeing my wireless gateway (it's listed), but I still can't connect (automatically or manually). I'll try to make another post when--or if--I get everything working correctly.

This adapter is a great way to get rid of cables while using the free infolink service. It even matches the red hue on the Series 7 units. During setup, the SSID must be selected from broadcasted choices. This forced me to broadcast, configure, then stop broadcasting. Still, the device took over 30 minutes to establish the first connection. Now it works fine.
