The Whirlpool WGD4800XQ offers some very important features. Firstly, it has an AutoDry system which automatically ends the cycle when the clothes dry with the help of its automatic sensor. This feature helps considerably in saving energy. Another feature is the Wrinkle shield option which helps to prevent wrinkles. Every five minutes, the dryer tumbles, even after the cycle has ended, so that fabrics which are dry and clean do not get wrinkled. This tumbling at regular intervals continues for a maximum of 40 minutes, or until you open the door of the dryer.

There are also 8 different automatic cycles that include damp dry, fluff air, timed, and normal drying cycles. It also has a top-mounted, extra-large Lint Screen which makes it convenient to remove and put it back. Drying efficiency and air flow are increased due to this large lint screen.

An interior light has been provided near the drum of the Whirlpool WGD4800XQ. Unloading and loading is made easy with the help of the illuminated interiors of the machine. You also have four different temperature controls and the signal at the end of the cycle is adjustable. It has a large front door that opens to the side.
