Solo Stove WD-OAK Oak Firewood
Fire up a climbing flame that’ll last as long as the memories you’ll create with kiln-dried Oak Firewood. Our ultra-dense hardwood will rage on for hours providing you with an efficient and low-smoke burn.
Features
- Each Oak firewood bundle is a convenient power pack of 6-8 logs equalling 0.5 cubic feet of firewood.
- The logs are pre-cut to 10-12" long and 3-6" wide, making them a perfect fit for your fire pit.
- Fire Pits are all different sizes, they will all take a different amount of wood.
- Bonfire: 4-6 logs, add more as needed
- Ranger: 3-4, add more as needed
- Yukon: 6-8 logs, add more as needed
- Be sure to not let your logs protrude past the top vent holes for an optimal burn.
- The key to secondary burn is creating an ember bed that’ll efficiently warm up those inner walls.
- The best wood to use in any fire pit is wood that is ultra-dry. Typically, there are two processes for drying wood: seasoning and kiln-drying. Seasoning wood is a more natural process as its essentially air-drying it. However, this takes a long time and can cause a lot of new problems. Kiln-drying wood involves drying wood so efficiently, that those problems are mitigated and your wood gets a low moisture content for optimal burning results.
