CES 2026: Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable Laptop
CES 2026 is showing off some amazing tech, from functioning robots to refrigerators that can help you shop for groceries from home. This year, we're also seeing rollable screen laptops from Lenovo—a perfect design for gamers who want to play on the go, but need more screen space than a classic laptop can provide. Lenovo showed off similar technology at last year's CES, and the brand goes even further with the Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable laptop this year in Las Vegas. Take a look at the way this screen can expand on the go.
The Legion Pro Rollable's Expanding Screen
Last year, we got a great look at the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 and its rollable OLED display. This year, things get powered up with the Lenovo Legion Pro concept and its rollable, expandable screen. This laptop screen shifts between a 16-, 21.5- and 24-inch width. So, how does it work?
This concept laptop is truly crafted for esports. A small 11-inch or 13-inch notebook just isn't going to work for most players. In fact, many gamers use 24-inch monitors while they play at home, making this laptop a full-sized monitor mimic. The expanding tech isn't extremely new: it uses a rollable PureSight OLED gaming display that, when activated, rolls out from the center of the laptop with help from dual motor tension-based functionality. Everything emerges smoothly, vibration-free and without noise thanks to the constant tension on the OLED laptop panel. And instead of creating extra drag and abrasion, the tension system on the expanding screen stays smoothly protected. Even for a computer concept, there's a lot to love on this gaming laptop.
The Gaming Power Within
Gaming laptops need to be packed with power, from chips to battery and beyond—even if the main gimmick is a rollable screen. The Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable laptop is based on the Legion Pro 7i and carries all of its strengths, from NVIDIA GPUs to Intel Core™ Ultra processors as well as Lenovo AI Engine+. However, the concept on the floor had no games installed, so there was no way to see how well different titles played on the gaming laptop. The brand notes that features like Scenario Detection and Smart FPS are made to boost gameplay, especially for esports players.
If this concept ever hits the market, it's going to be a great option for gamers on the go, esports players and anyone who wants a powerful laptop with extra screen space when they want it. We're still covering CES 2026, so follow along with us to see all of the tech of the future—and the things that will be coming out this year.
