CES 2026: Samsung Micro RGB TVs
Right out of the gate at CES 2026, we knew that RGB technology would be a star. Many top TV brands (including LG and Samsung) are working with this exciting new TV tech this year, and we're seeing some of it in Samsung's First Look. Meet Samsung Micro RGB TVs and all they can do—including creating unbeatable colors.
Samsung's Micro RGB TVs use one of the latest TV technologies, and it's right there in the name. Instead of a classic LED or LCD panel that emits white or blue light, individual Micro RGB LEDs by Samsung emit red, green and blue light instead. The result? An intensity of color and a much wider color gamut, all produced with extremely small RGB lights. And instead of one panel, these Micro RGB TVs are made up of lots of tiny Micro RGB pixels that are each individually controlled—all for unbeatable precision, true color accuracy and an impressive viewing experience that is worthy of CES 2026.
Boosted Color Contrast & Glare Reduction
Micro RGB Precision Color technology from Samsung is designed to go beyond other TV tech, bursting past LED, Mini LED and even classic OLED models thanks to its boost in color contrast, the range of colors it controls and Samsung's own Glare Free technology. Between the colorful hues and bright whites, this TV has no trouble keeping reflections and glare away from what you're watching. The colors look real—or realer than real, all for images that pull you into the screen. The word "immersion" doesn't begin to cover it. Samsung Micro RGB TVs bring 100% of the UHD spectrum to life with 100% accuracy, verified by VDE's color coding standards.
Sizing: Is This TV Right For Your Home?
Micro RGB technology isn't completely new: Samsung's version first debuted last year at CES 2025 with local dimming and a slim frame—and with a sticker-shock price tag of $30,000 for the solo 115-inch model. This year, the brand is coming out with multiple sizes, including 55-, 65-. 75-, 85-, 100- and 115-inch versions. Their First Look also showed off a 130-inch version that's still only a concept. With so many different sizes, Samsung Micro RGB TVs can be large enough ... or small enough ... for just about any space in your home. While Samsung has not yet released pricing for these televisions, they'll likely be pricey—but it's a competitive market with other RGB TVs available.
All The AI Inside
The colorful picture is powered by more than just pixels: the AI-equipped processor pushes these TVs to the limit with precise, fine controls that combine local dimming with 4K AI upscaling. AI neural networks upscale everything you watch or play, whether you're seeing it live, playing a game in real-time or watching an older film. There's lots more AI inside, too, from Samsung's AI game optimization in Game Mode to the energy-saving AI Energy Mode. These TVs are built to be smarter than smart, from the ground up.
The Best Samsung Features: Incredible Sound & More
Don't forget that all of the new tech in these RGB TVs is backed up by top tried-and-true Samsung features to the side, like sound quality. Whether you're a movie lover or prefer live sports, you'll want to hear all the noise at its best. Samsung Micro RGB TVs bring features like Object Tracking Sound+, boosted dialogue with Active Voice Amplifier Pro, Dolby Atmos® new Eclipsa spatial audio and Samsung Soundbars' Q-Symphony, where your soundbar and TV speakers work in harmony.
There's a lot more that Samsung's Micro RGB TVs can likely do, just like its 2025 version, from transforming into your new smart home hub to becoming a remoteless TV. And we're excited to see it all in person when these televisions are released sometime in 2026. Abt has a massive collection of Samsung TVs, so if you're looking for news on where to find this model in the size that's right for you, keep an eye on the blog—and on Abt.com.
