APEC Essence standard capacity pre-filter set for ROES-PHUV75 is made with high quality filtration components to protect and prolong the lifespan of your reverse osmosis system. Premium quality filter set lasts over 6 to 12 months for high performance contaminant removal. These standard size filters are compatible with APEC Essence Series and all other 10" standard size under counter reverse osmosis systems

• 1st Stage: high quality polypropylene filter removes dust, particles, and rust, preventing sediment from building up and clogging the filters and the system. Recommend changing every 6-12 months.
• 2nd and 3rd Stage: extruded carbon block filters remove chlorine, taste & odor at a fast flow rate, improving water taste and prolonging the life of the RO membrane. Recommend changing every 6-12 months.
• 5th Stage: continuous UV sanitization provides chemical-free purified drinking water and destroys up to 99.99% of bacteria, viruses & cysts.
• 7th Stage: PH+ alkaline re-mineralizing calcium filter adds calcium carbonate to increase water alkalinity.
