The Nanofram horn cover complements a purpose-built package made for optimal sound in changing environments.

The high-frequency section pairs an aluminum tweeter diaphragm with a 1.75-inch OFC copper-wire voice coil to produce brighter, more efficient sound while generating less heat. The CHT175 tweeter voice coil is repairable if service is needed. The system also includes a custom-tooled, vented and encased 12dB external crossover, bringing enhanced control to the pro coaxial horn design.

Mid-bass performance begins with a lightweight, rigid Carbon Matrix Composite cone engineered to tolerate high temperatures. Its Black Coat 2.5-inch high-conductivity, low-resistance OFC copper-wire voice coil is designed for extreme-temperature operation and maximum efficiency, while an N35SH neodymium magnet supplies powerful, reliable performance. A custom-tooled die-cast aluminum basket uses Vortex Flow Venting to maximize airflow and cooling. With 92dB sensitivity at 1W/1M and a 46Hz-20kHz frequency response within +/-3dB, the CHX8.4 brings wide-ranging output to an all-weather pro coaxial horn speaker design.
