The Le Creuset 71005340129002 Heritage 2.5 qt Square Casserole is a covered stoneware baking dish with even heat distribution, superior heat retention, a moisture-locking lid and a virtually non-stick glazed interior. Its nonporous, non-reactive, scratch-resistant finish resists stains and flavor absorption, while a -9 to 500 degrees F temperature range and freezer, oven, microwave, broiler and dishwasher compatibility support preparation, baking, reheating, serving and cleanup. The Nuit casserole includes scalloped handles inspired by early Le Creuset designs.
