Three different insets can be fitted into the opening in the plate according to choice. Two of the insets are fitted with small blades for cutting vegetables in Julienne style. The third inset has no blades and is designed to produce normal slices of vegetable. Insets are easily interchangeable and simply snap on the plate. To avoid damaging the blades, dishwasher cleaning is not recommended.
