The thick, heavy bottom prevents burning while the cast-aluminum construction warms contents evenly - less stirring required. The heat-tempered glass lid makes it easy to monitor your food while it cooks and even features an adjustable lid knob for advanced moisture control. Designed for use on all gas and electric stovetops. Oven-safe up to 260°C (500°F). Also available in two larger sizes: 2.2-quart and 3.2-quart Safe for dishwasher use, but hand-washing is recommended.
