CES 2025: Introducing The PocketBook InkPoster
The PocketBook InkPoster is a color ePaper digital art display, or in simpler terms an electronic poster. Rather than mimicking the build of a screen, the brand says the InkPoster offers “the authentic feel of ink-on-paper with vibrant colors and detailed, bright images”. But how is this possible? With support from E Ink Spectra™ 6. This technology offers a glare-free, paper-like viewing experience using a six-color ink system containing millions of electronic color ink Microcups. But what makes the PocketBook InkPoster so special is what it doesn’t have. There is no LCD panel, no distracting backlighting, no heat emissions and no harmful blue light. This makes the poster both an eco-friendly device and a piece of decor destined to elevate any home.
How It Works
The PocketBook InkPoster does not rely on wall plugs and is battery-powered instead. With just one charge, the poster can display your favorite wall art for a full year. When displaying a static image, the low-maintenance poster requires zero energy. In fact, it only needs energy to change the image on the display. As the InkPoster is both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled, you can use the PocketBook app to access thousands of art pieces or upload your own image instead. The versatile display can also be used in both landscape and portrait orientations too. The PocketBook InkPoster will be launched in three sizes: 13.3-inch, 28.5-inch and 31.5-inch. The 28.5-inch, mid-sized InkPoster combines E Ink Spectra™ 6 technology with new Sharp IGZO technology, which allows for faster image updates. Not sure which one to take home?
