Kanto TUKG2PMBG Tuk G2 Powered Bookshelf Speakers in Matte Black (Pair)
The Kanto TUKG2PMBG Tuk G2 powered bookshelf speaker pair is a 2nd Gen stereo system with built-in Class D amplification, DSP, 130 W RMS/260 W peak power and a 50 Hz-22 kHz frequency response. Its driver complement combines 28mm x 35mm AMT tweeters with 5.25 in Aircomb aluminum woofers, while Bluetooth 5.4 with AptX Adaptive, AAC and SBC, 24 bit/96 kHz USB-C and optical inputs, and dual RCA line-level inputs support wireless, computer, digital and analog listening.
A selectable 80 Hz high/low-pass filter and subwoofer output can send bass to a connected subwoofer while the bookshelf speaker pair concentrates on clear highs and mids. Hand-built black cabinets, swappable left/right channels and a redesigned remote add flexible placement and control for 2-channel listening.
Key Features
Precision AMT Driver Technology
A 28mm x 35mm Air Motion Transformer tweeter works with a 5.25 in Aircomb aluminum woofer to reveal depth, detail and broad dispersion. The pairing gives voices and instruments an expressive, full-scale presentation that reaches beyond the speakers' compact format.
Advanced DSP Acoustics
Refined crossover tuning and DSP technology shape a more balanced listen, helping vocals sound lifelike and individual instruments remain distinct. Class D amplification provides 130W RMS output, with 260W peak power available for dynamic room-filling playback.
Bluetooth 5.4 With aptX Adaptive
Bluetooth 5.4 supports high-definition wireless streaming through aptX Adaptive on compatible devices, with AAC and SBC support for additional sources. Music can move from a phone, tablet or computer to the speakers without giving up the detail-focused character of the system.
Direct Digital USB-C Audio
A USB-C connection bypasses the computer's built-in soundcard and accepts audio up to 24 bit/96 kHz, making Tuk G2 a direct digital option for a desktop listening setup. Optical input also supports 24 bit/96 kHz audio, while two RCA line-level inputs accommodate additional wired components.
Selectable 80 Hz Subwoofer Integration
Connecting a subwoofer and activating the 80 Hz crossover redirects bass frequencies away from Tuk G2. With the subwoofer handling the low end, the bookshelf speakers can concentrate on clear midrange and high-frequency detail.
Redesigned Remote Control
The included infrared remote puts volume, input selection, tone, balance and Bluetooth playback controls within easy reach. The active and passive speakers can also swap left and right positions, allowing the powered side to sit where connections work best.
