ASKO T5HXLG is a tumble dryer designed in Sweden and with extra robust construction for a trouble-free everyday life for many years. It has a 5.2 cu ft drum and 18 programs for easy and efficient drying. The machine has an easy-to-use lint filter, One Motion Lint Filter, which makes daily care of the dryer simple. Butterfly Drying technology distributes the clothes and ensures even and gentle drying.

This 5-series heat pump condenser dryer brings sensor or time controlled drying to a front-load, freestanding design. Butterfly Drying uses large paddles inside the drum to tumble clothes in a horizontal figure eight, helping prevent bundling so garments dry evenly with less risk of damage and wear. If bundling occurs, Bundle Guard detects it and changes the direction of the drum for 30 seconds before returning to the normal direction.

For performance over time, ASKO's Multi Filter System combats lint with three filters: a mesh filter in the air duct, plus a combination filter with fine-mesh and thick foam. The self-cleaning lower lint filter uses water from the condenser tank to rinse the filter, and a display reminder appears after 30 dry cycles. A brushless DC motor supports quieter, more durable and more energy-efficient performance than standard motors.

Everyday control feels premium with a full-color TFT touch display that works by touch or the convenient jog dial. Choose Normal View for detailed information or Easy View, which enlarges text and icons for improved readability. The ConnectLife app gives smart, real-time control with quick Bluetooth pairing, remote and voice control, customizable and exclusive programs, automatic firmware updates, push notifications, manuals and troubleshooting. • Installation should be carried out by a qualified person familiar with all local codes and ordinances for electrical and plumbing connections.
• Install in a room with adequate ventilation and a temperature between 50 degrees F and 77 degrees F; do not place the dryer where temperature can drop below 32 degrees F.
• For proper ventilation, the machine should not be installed behind a door, and the toe kick ventilation must not be blocked by a rug or similar item.
• The dryer is delivered ready-fitted with a four-prong plug intended for connection to a 4-wire NEMA Type 14-30R receptacle; do not connect the machine by an extension cord.
• To stack the dryer on a washing machine, use the supplied plastic footrests and tipping guard; the tipping guard is designed for ASKO washing machines and cannot be installed on washing machines from other brands.
• Before changing the door opening direction, disconnect the appliance from power; changing the direction should be done by an installer, service provider or similarly qualified person.
