  Now you don’t have to choose between bass and space! Alpine’s R-Series Shallow Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosure measures at a minimal 5.25” deep to deliver a loud and fun sound in most vehicle applications. Rubber “feet” are adjustable in height to accommodate uneven vehicle floors.

  Don’t let the size fool you – the enclosures feature the same motor movement (20MM of 1-way excursion) as the full-size R2-Series Subwoofers for extreme output in a shallow woofer design. At the heart of the R-Series Shallow Subwoofers is an oversized 4-inch voice coil that houses the lightweight and powerful neodymium magnet for 600W RMS of power handling.

  Integrated cooling fins located in the core of the subwoofer help dissipate the heat generated by the rapid subwoofer movement for enhanced cooling reliability and hours of uninterruped playtime. The Unique CoolMount Dual-panel mount subwoofer motor enhances cooling.

  Alpine's Gen2 DD-Linear Magnetic Circuit technology, a compact and efficient dual-gap voice coil structure, allows for better control over the motro, resulting in lower distortion and precise bass control. The preloaded enclosures use the subwoofer frame as bracing for a more ridged design and better bass response.

  A lightweight yet rigid aluminum dust cap allows the R-Series Shallow Subwoofer to transition sound quickly with minimal distortion and project the bass off the surface of the speaker for hard-hitting yet smooth bass performance. The included adjustable mounting brackets allow for down-fire mount configuration.
• Optimal Power Match
  With dual voice coils wired in parallel for 2 ohm load, the Alpine R-Series 12" Shallow Subwoofer Enclosure is optimized to perform with Alpine's S-A60M and R-A75M mono amplifiers.
