Garmin 010-04598-00 Edge 1060 3.5-Inch GPS Cycling Computer

The Garmin 010-04598-00 Edge 1060 GPS cycling computer pairs a 3.5-in color touchscreen with multi-band GNSS and hands-free voice control1 for road, gravel and trail riding. Battery life reaches up to 20 hours in demanding use or up to 60 hours in battery save mode. Garmin Cycle Map, TopoActive cycling maps and ClimbPro support navigation and ascent planning, while real-time stamina, power guide and smart fueling bring performance tools to your ride. Bluetooth, ANT+ and Wi-Fi connectivity support connected riding, from pairing compatible cycling equipment to managing maps and uploading recorded rides to Garmin Connect.

Key Features

Hands-Free Control

A built-in speaker and microphone let spoken requests become part of your ride: ask for statistics or find a destination without operating the touchscreen.1 Voice messaging through the Garmin Messenger app adds another way to stay in touch.2 An integrated bike bell, bike alarm and Find My Edge round out the onboard tools.

Know Before You Go

Build a route on the computer, compare alternatives and preview ride conditions before setting out. Garmin Cycle Map and TopoActive cycling maps work alongside integrated TrailForks trail data and popularity heatmaps, giving you mapping resources for both roads and trails. Nearby amenities and Up Ahead points of interest help you plan stops, while Wi-Fi map management supports map additions before your ride.

ClimbPro supports ascent planning on saved courses and during free riding, so climbing tools are not limited to days when you follow a predetermined route. A-to-B and RoundTrip course options give route creation a starting point that fits your plans.

Train Smart and Stay Connected

Choose downloadable plans, event-specific daily workout suggestions, intervals or advanced workouts to give each session a purpose. Adaptive coaching, TrainingPeaks synchronization and interactive workout views support structured training. Cycling ability and course demands analysis help you consider the effort ahead, while stamina, pacing and fueling tools support your efforts on the bike.

Afterward, review cycling training status, load, load focus and training effect alongside VO2 Max and recovery guidance. Compatible wearables can contribute recovery information, bringing more of your training picture together.

3.5-in Color Touchscreen

The liquid crystal display presents maps and ride information at 480 x 800 resolution. Customize data pages and home-screen widgets around the information you want to follow, then use the on-device Connect IQ Store to add compatible apps and data fields. Smart notifications, smartphone music controls, weather forecasts and a real-time weather map extend the information available on the computer.

Multi-Band GNSS and 5 Hz MTB Recording

GPS, GLONASS and Galileo support satellite positioning, with multi-band GNSS available for ride tracking. For descending runs in Enduro MTB and Downhill MTB profiles, enabling 5 Hz recording improves position analysis. A recording indicator appears during the run and in its summary, and saved descents can be analyzed in Garmin Connect. Battery saver disables this recording mode. Gravity MTB profiles, MTB Dynamics and timing gates add tools for mountain-bike sessions.

GroupRide, LiveTrack and Safety Tools

Discover nearby GroupRide sessions and bring shared routes, group messages and live locations into your ride. Data comparisons, competitions and awards add a group dimension, while community hazard reporting lets riders contribute information about the route.3 LiveTrack lets invited contacts follow race or training data online, and GroupTrack displays connections through LiveTrack.

Assistance can send configured contacts your identifying information, a LiveTrack link and available GPS location. Incident detection can send those details automatically after a detected incident during supported outdoor activities and sound an alarm. These tools supplement, rather than replace, primary emergency-assistance methods.4

Up to 20 Hours in Demanding Use

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery offers two runtime options: up to 20 hours for demanding use, or up to 60 hours with battery save mode. Power Mount and Garmin Charge battery pack compatibility provide in-ride power options. Reverse charging offers a separate power-sharing option when stopped.5

Connect Your Cycling Equipment

Pair compatible power meters for cycling dynamics, connect a smart trainer for controlled training or integrate electronic shifting through Shimano Di2 Synchro Shift and SRAM AXS. Compatible Varia radar, lights and cameras extend the connected setup, while eBike Smart range routing supports electric-bike navigation. A compatible Garmin watch can also share data screens through the extended display feature.
