Using the same Tractrix® horn technology and design principles of our premium architectural and box speaker lines, the all new Klipsch Designer series brings true Klipsch power and performance. With a 6.5” Polypropylene woofer and a 1” Silk Dome tweeter mated to a round Tractrix® horn, the DS-160CDT brings dynamic, powerful, detailed Klipsch sound to your distributed audio, home theater, or 2-channel system.
- Exclusive Patented Sky Hook® Cinch Installation System
This exclusive installation system engages the dog legs automatically when the speaker is inserted into the cutout hole with a preset clamping force, eliminating the possibility of overtorquing. If dealing with an uneven space, a 1/4 turn of each dog leg screw achieves an even more flush finish. This fast, easy installation system reduces install time by up to 75% - Controlled Dispersion Technology™
CDT technology allows for the tweeter and the woofer to be aimed up to 15° in any direction, helping to ensure on-axis frequency response at almost any listening position.
