Maximum oven-safe temperature is 500 degrees F. For broiler use, keep at least 2 1/2 in between the rim of the dish and the heat source.
Do not place a frozen dish of food in a preheated oven. Place it in a cold oven so the dish and oven heat together, and bring refrigerated or frozen prepared food toward room temperature before reheating to reduce thermal-shock risk.
