In addition, 24V system compatibility means you don’t have to replace your existing furnace or two-stage thermostat. - Efficient Heat Pump for Cold Climates
This heat pump is tested to provide a 70% heating capacity ratio at 5° F and deliver 100% heating capacity down to 27° F. If your winters are long and extremely cold, you may want to pair it with a gas furnace for a dual-fuel heating system.
