CES 2025: The Nikon Z9 and Thermal Blanket

Meet the Nikon Z9 camera and thermal blanket, an impressive combination that works in places you'd never guess—like on the International Space Station. We spoke to Jeff in the Nikon booth at the Consumer Electronics Show, and he was excited to show us the future of imaging technology.
NASA and Nikon work together to create the best images possible in space, and that's with the aid of the Nikon Z9. The mirrorless digital camera is designed to go not just to the ISS, but to the Artemis missions as well, a collection of missions to re-establish human contact with the lunar surface. With the addition of the correct lenses and the thermal blanket, the Nikon Z9 is going to be the camera that shares photos of the moon with everyone back on Earth.
