The CWM664 matches the dimensions and most of the features found in the CWM663, only distinguishing itself by the materials of its drivers. Both of these built in wall speakers offer the simplicity of Bowers & Wilkins QuickDogs™ fixing system to aid installation. And both speakers will surely impress as part of a surround sound system or simply stereo.
The 1" Nautilus™ tube loaded tweeter uses a soft dome in the CWM664. The Nautilus™ design still works to pull unwanted sound radiation from behind the driver to keep the highs clear. And the three-position frequency switch also lets these built in wall speakers boost or cut the high end to match their environment.
The 6" black glass fibre bass/midrange cone is the other key difference between the CWM664 and its burlier cousin. These glass fibre cones produce a clean sound worthy of the Bowers & Wilkins name, while helping to keep these built in wall speakers reasonably priced.
