The CWM652 creates a powerful sound from its compact frame. Thin bezels allow the speaker to disappear into their wall, making them a perfect choice for in wall surround speakers or a space saving office sound source.
Sporting a 5" blue Kevlar cone in a solid die-cast chassis, the CWM652 delivers fast, clean bass and midrange tones. The die-cast chassis provides a more rigid frame than the alternative pressed steel, ensuring that even the lowest tones won't rattle the frame.
Covering the high notes in the CWM652 is a 1" Nautilus™ tube loaded aluminum dome tweeter. The Nautilus™ tube produces a precise, natural sound by pulling unwanted sound radiation away from the driver's rear. And with a three position high frequency switch, you can fine tune these in wall surround speakers to match the acoustics of the room, boosting the highs for carpeted and draped environments, or cutting around glass and hardwood floors.
