New to Cicada Audio's mid-line series, the CXX57.4 brings high-output, all-weather sound to motorcycle bag lids in a 5 x 7-inch pro coaxial speaker pair. It is a drop-in replacement developed for 1998 to 2023 H-D factory-designed locations¹, giving Harley-Davidson audio customers a purpose-built speaker option for the original factory positions. The 4-ohm design also supports a bi-amplified OEM hookup for the H-D Boom 2 System, making it a direct replacement option for motorcycles equipped with that factory audio arrangement.

The driver architecture combines a woofer with a 1.4-inch voice coil and a 1-inch PEI tweeter. Its extremely lightweight and strong Kevlar cone resists moisture while maximizing efficiency, while the high-temperature polymer tweeter diaphragm delivers bright, efficient output with added moisture resistance. Cicada Audio's exclusive V8 Dispersion Guide distributes tweeter sound through 360 degrees and around the listening area. With power handling rated at 125W RMS and 250W maximum, 89dB sensitivity at 1W/1M, and a 50 Hz to 20 kHz +/- 3dB frequency response, this pair is built for high-performance motorcycle audio.

Flexible system operation lets the CXX57.4 work as a coaxial speaker or as a bi-amplified driver. A switchable built-in 6dB crossover provides the control needed to move between those configurations, supporting both straightforward replacement and OEM Boom 2 integration. Rain or shine performance is backed by N45H neodymium magnets, a custom-tooled polycarbonate basket engineered to resist high temperatures, and UV protection over all surfaces. Together with moisture-resistant cone and tweeter materials, these construction details prepare the speakers for the exposed conditions of motorcycle-audio use.
