A proprietary dispersion approach broadens the tweeter's output around the riding position. The built-in 6dB crossover handles frequency division inside each speaker, bringing the mid-bass and tweeter together in an integrated coaxial assembly. The PEI tweeter dome contributes moisture resistance, brighter sound, efficient output and effective dispersion, while the copper wire voice coils are designed to generate less heat while delivering great sound.
The material design is prepared for exposed-vehicle use in rain or shine. An extremely lightweight and strong Kevlar cone resists moisture and maximizes efficiency, while a neodymium motor supports the speaker system. A custom-tooled polycarbonate basket resists high temperatures, and UV protection over all surfaces adds protection for outdoor applications. Two 5.25-inch Pro Coax speakers are supplied as a pair, with grills and hardware included.
