The Cuetec 95-138LTW Cynergy SVB Gen II Gray Stain two-piece billiard playing cue combines a carbon fiber composite shaft, a soft Tiger Sniper laminated tip and a pebbled full-grain leather wrap. Designed under Shane Van Boening's direction, the second-generation signature series features a Clear-Tec epoxy finish and a leather grip extending to the butt cap. Low-deflection shaft construction balances accuracy, power and spin with wood-like feedback, giving players the sensory response to build trust in their stroke.

Gen II Construction and Clear-Tec Finish

A relocated A-joint is one of the construction changes that distinguishes this redesigned signature series. Beneath the Clear-Tec epoxy exterior is an A+ grade kiln-dried Canadian Maple core. The 3/8x14 Cuetec joint connects the butt and shaft in a two-piece playing cue that pairs maple construction with carbon composite performance.

Full-Grain Leather and Crown-Inspired Detail

The extended wrap puts pebbled full-grain leather under your grip through to the butt cap. Crown-inspired ornamentation celebrates Shane Van Boening's standing in American pool, with Gray Stain providing the finish. Synthetic Abalone points complement silver precision-cut rings accented with genuine Abalone inlays, giving the points and ringwork distinct decorative materials.

Acueweight Generation II and Duo Extension Compatibility

Acueweight Generation II supports weight adjustment so you can tailor the cue to your playing preference. A Duo Extension-ready bumper also accommodates an optional extension when you want additional reach. The extension and weight kit are not included.

12.5mm Cynergy Carbon Composite Shaft

Oriented carbon filaments provide strength and straightness, with spun 15K carbon tow surrounding a polyurethane foam core. That foam stabilizes the shaft and controls flex while preserving a wood-like contact sound. It stops short of the tip, leaving a rigid, lower-mass front cavity that reduces deflection. This combination connects carbon composite performance with the feedback players use to develop trust and muscle memory.

The elongated pro taper supports a level stroke as the shaft moves through your bridge hand. Its low-friction surface helps that movement stay smooth, while resistance to dings addresses the contact a playing shaft can encounter during use.

White Sighting Ferrule and Soft Tiger Sniper Tip

A white ferrule supplies aiming contrast and depth perception, giving you a visual reference near the point of contact. It also provides a platform for tip service. The soft Tiger Sniper tip has ten layers and neutral hit characteristics; curing for over a year and vacuum lamination remove air between layers.

Footnotes:

Never sand, polish or change the shaft diameter. Abrasives can damage the finish, weaken fibers and release potentially harmful material. Avoid baby powder, hand chalk, talc and other shaft treatments.

Clean with two debris-free soft towels: remove dust with the first, then use the second dampened with isopropyl alcohol at 75% or higher to wipe lengthwise and around the shaft. Allow the shaft to dry.

Have tip service performed by an experienced cuesmith without sanding or modifying the shaft finish. Ferrule replacement requires an authorized Cynergy repair center. Avoid considerable lateral pressure, excessive flexing and striking other objects.
