Inspired by the Italian coastline of the Adriatic Sea, classical design is made new in the Lapilli Console Table combining a metal base shaped with airy geometric motifs and an organic stone veneer top. The base is finished in a metallic silver tone with distressing texture applied for tactile appeal. Delivering the casual look and feel of ageless pieces acquired during travels in the Old World, Hooker Furniture is featuring Alfresco, a whole-home collection with relaxed European provincial styling. The Alfresco collection has a well-traveled aesthetic that is inspired by heirloom pieces found in homes perched on cliffs along the Italian coastline of the Adriatic Sea. The collection of bedroom, dining room, occasional and accent furniture features moderately distressed designs that are enhanced by accent paint finishes that create an eclectic feel. Alfresco is constructed of oak, maple and hickory veneers and poplar solids, and includes several pieces with stone and metal accents.

The sheen, or gloss, of the finish ranges from high to low, depending on the piece or collection. The finish protects the wood and adds to its beauty. No finish is totally indestructible. But with regular care, the finish will last much longer, providing years of enjoyment to you.

To Protect And Care For Your Furniture, We Suggest The Following:

• Avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight, as sunlight causes fading.
• Avoid extreme changes in temperature by arranging furniture away from radiators, heat and air vents and air conditioning units.
• Avoid placing plastic or rubber materials (lamp bases, notebooks, placemats, etc.) on your furniture, as certain plastics contain ingredients that may damage the finish.
• Periodically rotate accessories on furniture so they do not sit in the same spot all the time.
• Use pads, cloth or felt to protect the furniture surface from plastic, rubber, hot dishes, beverages, bookends, flowerpots and vases.
• Clean up spills immediately. Use a blotting rather than a wiping action. Water left over a long period of time will cause white spots in the finish. Alcohol, perfume, after-shave and medications can cause severe finish damage.
• Use a protective pad when writing with a ballpoint pen on the furniture surface.
• Lift and place objects rather than dragging them across the furniture surface.
• Avoid placing furniture directly under windows.

• Important Use Information: We recommend the use of felt tabs and coasters to protect the stone surface. All stone tops, especially those around water should be sealed or polished before use and on a regular basis to keep the porous stone from absorbing any stains from water, soap, wine, colas, etc. Wipe up spills immediately, since any liquids allowed to seep in may not be able to be removed and may etch the surface, causing discoloration. Most home improvement stores have a wide range of products for these applications due to the sale of stone counter tops.
