Advanced Horn Technology
The AK7 features a new extended phase plug, a cinema-grade 3" compression driver, and a patented Tractrix mid-range horn with Mumps technology for improved coverage and clarity. Its fully enclosed low-frequency horn works with the K-33-E 15" woofer to deliver deep bass with remarkable impact.

• Optional Heritage Active Crossover Extends Performance
  The AK7 was meticulously engineered with an optional Heritage Active Crossover in mind, which has been tuned specifically for Klipschorn speakers by master acoustician and PWK protégé Roy Delgado. Trickle-down technology from our heralded Jubilee floorstanding speakers, the Heritage Active Crossover aligns time and phase while boosting frequencies and balancing EQ for a flat, color-free response
• Redesigned Input / Output Panel
  To accommodate the optional Heritage Active Crossover and provide the audience with more options, we’ve modified the I/O panel. It now includes passive and active inputs and a passive output, so switching between setups is easy. We’ve also moved the panel to the speaker’s back for a cleaner look from almost any angle.
• Three-Way, Horn-Loaded Efficiency
  The Klipschorn’s three-way, horn-loaded system delivers exceptional efficiency. For the AK7, we couple each driver to a precisely measured horn and optimize it for one of three pass-bands. This design generates greater acoustic power with less wattage, producing crystal clear sound with minimal distortion across the frequency spectrum.
• Extended Phase Plug For Heavenly Highs
  We’ve paired our K-771 compression driver with a patented extended phase plug to prevent cancellations and equalize wavelengths for cleaner dispersion. That means you get more coverage and clarity than ever before.
• 3” Compression Driver Pumps Up The Power
  The new midrange K-1133-HP compression driver adds a full inch to the drivers on previous AK6 models. The larger compression area increases sound pressure to the horn’s throat for more voluptuous volume.
