Seestar S30PRO Compact 4K Dual-Camera Smart Telescope

Pro performance meets an infinite cosmos with the Seestar S30PRO Smart Telescope, a compact, lightweight, all-in-one astrophotography system made to simplify exploration. It combines an Alt-Az mount, telephoto telescope, wide-angle and astronomical cameras, automatic focusing, filters, dew control, controller functions and image-processing tools in one portable device. Through the mobile app, an observing session can move from target selection to real-time results with less manual setup, while on-screen target information helps newcomers learn the sky. Experienced users can also pursue more advanced capture and Equatorial Mode workflows.

A 4K dual-lens system gives the Seestar S30PRO two complementary ways to frame the world above and around you. At 1X magnification, both cameras capture 3840 x 2160 images,1 pairing detailed telephoto views with an expansive 63-degree wide-angle field. Four imaging modes cover deep-sky objects, the Milky Way and star fields, the solar system, landscapes and distant daytime subjects. Wide-field tools create time-lapse views, star trails and high-resolution panoramas, while separate sky and foreground processing can retain a sharp landscape as the telescope follows the Milky Way.2 Deep-sky mosaic planning extends beyond a single frame by capturing and joining a grid into an expanded view up to 8K.

Optical and environmental tools support clear, balanced night-sky results: a four-element apochromatic lens with ED glass, three built-in filters and active anti-dew control work across changing subjects and conditions. One-tap processing provides noise reduction and Dynamic Background Extraction for cleaner detail and more even backgrounds. Plan Mode can schedule target location, tracking, capture and refinement, while Equatorial Mode compensates for Earth's rotation and supports exposures up to 60 seconds with accurate polar alignment and a compatible wedge or mount sold separately.3 Beyond galaxies and nebulae, the telephoto system is ready for the Moon, basic planetary imaging, birds, wildlife, landscapes, rocket launches, photos, video and time-lapse capture. Remote telescope access, voice-command guidance, FITS files and ASCOM Alpaca support further expand how beginners and experienced astrophotographers can observe, create and process their work.

Key Features

Just 3 Steps to Stunning Cosmic Images

Select a celestial subject and let the app coordinate GoTo positioning, plate solving, electronic focus, tracking, capture and stacking. This guided workflow replaces a collection of separate setup tasks with an approachable path from choosing a target to reviewing the result.

8K Milky Way Stitching - One-Click Mosaic

Horizontal and vertical panorama options broaden the composition beyond a single wide-angle frame. The system can assemble high-resolution sky mosaics up to 8K, and foreground separation helps preserve landscape definition while the celestial portion follows the moving sky.

4-Element Apochromatic Lens

The telephoto optical path uses a four-element design with Extra-low Dispersion glass to control chromatic aberration. The result is improved star shape, sharpness, color fidelity, neutral blacks and a more balanced rendering of the night sky.

Triple Filters - Tuned for the Night

The UV/IR Cut Filter maintains clarity and color, while the dual-band light-pollution filter is optimized for OIII and H-alpha emission wavelengths. A Dark Field Filter assists with long-exposure noise, giving the telescope dedicated options for different imaging tasks.

Unlock More Ways to Explore

Telescope Network lets users remotely control registered Seestar telescopes across regions and time zones, with access to live views and imaging progress. The Seestar AI Assistant adds real-time guidance through simple voice commands.

Open Integration - Built to Expand

ASCOM Alpaca compatibility opens the system to third-party astronomy workflows, including NINA. FITS subframe support also allows captured data to move into external post-processing software when a more customized editing path is preferred.

Footnotes:

1 At 1X, both cameras capture 3840 x 2160 4K images. Resolution decreases at 2X and 4X. Live preview is 1080P at 1X and also decreases at higher magnification.

2 Milky Way imaging requires dark-sky conditions; heavy light pollution can limit or hide detail.

3 Exposures up to 60 seconds are available only in Equatorial Mode, not Alt-Az Mode. Accurate polar alignment and a compatible equatorial wedge or mount sold separately are required.

4 Clouds, rain or strong wind may prevent a scheduled task from finishing. The telescope does not automatically shut down because of these conditions.

5 Smart noise reduction works on real captured astronomical images and does not generate synthetic astronomical images.

6 Actual available storage varies because of system use and storage allocation; system updates can change allocation. Approximately 110GB may be usable.

7 Battery-life results were measured at 25 degrees C and vary with actual use. The approximately six-hour result used Stargazing Mode with image enhancement and tracking enabled and defogging disabled.

8 NFC requires a compatible phone. The telescope must be powered on, the phone unlocked, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS enabled. Detection varies with phone antenna location.

9 Initial online activation is required. After activation, the telescope can use its own Wi-Fi hotspot without cellular or home internet.

Always securely install the included magnetic solar filter before aiming at the Sun. Direct solar viewing through the main camera can permanently damage the device. Move the Sun out of the telephoto view before removing the filter.

This precision optical and electronic instrument is not a toy. Protect it from drops, impacts, water, dust, open flame, chemical solvents and unauthorized disassembly, and keep the telescope, parts and cables away from children. Minors require adult supervision.
