The StarTech 101N-USBC-DOCK USB-C dual-monitor laptop docking station offers seven downstream USB ports, support for up to two 2560 x 1440 displays at 60Hz or one 4K display at 60Hz, and 85W USB Power Delivery 3.0 for compatible laptops. Driverless setup supports Windows and ChromeOS computers with USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 connectivity, while DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b and VGA outputs accommodate different monitors. A supplied locking host cable helps retain the USB-C connection, and the included power adapter supports laptop charging alongside power for connected USB peripherals.

Seven USB Ports, Front and Rear

Keep frequently accessed connections within reach using two front USB-A ports and one front USB-C port, each supporting 5Gbps operation. Four rear USB-A ports accommodate USB 2.0 HID input devices, leaving the front connections available for other accessories. This layout lets you expand peripheral connectivity beyond the laptop's built-in ports.

Dual 1440p 60Hz or Single 4K 60Hz Video

Build a two-screen workspace with DisplayPort as the primary output and HDMI or VGA as the second connection. DisplayPort paired with HDMI supports up to two 2560 x 1440 monitors at 60Hz; a single DisplayPort or HDMI display can run at up to 4K at 60Hz.¹ VGA provides a 1080p option. MST uses the laptop's graphics hardware to deliver uncompressed video with low CPU utilization.

Locking Host Connection and Physical Security

Help prevent the host cable from coming loose with the included USB-IF Certified screw-locking USB-C cable and matching locking host port. Kensington K-Slot and Nano Slot compatibility gives you two lock-slot formats for securing the dock. Mounting holes also accommodate an optional bracket for a fixed workstation installation; the bracket is not included.

Driverless Setup and Software Utilities

Get connected without installing dock drivers on a supported Windows or ChromeOS computer using USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4. USB Event Monitoring and Windows Layout are also offered as software utilities, complementing the dock's display and peripheral connections.

85W USB Power Delivery 3.0

Keep working while the supplied adapter supports 85W laptop charging and power for attached devices.² A front-mounted power button gives you accessible on/off control without reaching for connections at the rear.
