The Vent-A-Hood JPH360/C1 SS JPH/C1 Designer Series 60 in wall mount range hood¹ pairs a crisp Stainless Steel pyramid profile with 900 CFM airflow, a 1350 Equivalent CFM comparison rating² and 6.3-sone high-speed operation. Its filter-free Magic Lung system uses an open capture canopy and centrifugal separation to remove 99% of grease from the airflow³ before it reaches the ductwork. A SensaSource heat sensor automatically raises blower speed as cooking temperatures increase, while four dimmable 2700K LED lights provide bright task lighting or softer ambient illumination.

900 CFM Magic Lung Ventilation

The Vent-A-Hood Magic Lung system on the JPH360/C1 SS draws grease, smoke, heat and odors into a large open canopy. A B200 Dual blower and B100 Single blower provide the rated 900 CFM output, while centrifugal action removes grease before exhaust enters the duct system, helping limit buildup and the opportunity for flame spread.

6.3-Sone High-Speed Operation

At maximum speed, the hood is rated at 6.3 sones, approximately 57 dB. Because the blower does not have to pull air through restrictive mesh or baffle filters, it can maintain substantial ventilation power with less airflow resistance and less noise than conventional filter-based systems.

Filter-Free E-Z Clean Maintenance

There are no conventional filters to scrub or replace. Collected grease drains to the E-Z Clean tray, and the tray, snap-apart blower housing and blower wheels can be removed and placed in the dishwasher for more convenient cleanup.

SensaSource Heat-Responsive Control

When cooking temperatures rise, SensaSource automatically increases blower speed. The hood can respond to changing heat at the cooking surface without requiring the user to stop and make a manual adjustment.

Four Dimmable 2700K LED Lights

Four warm-white LEDs illuminate the cooking surface beneath the hood. Dual-level dimming lets you move from brighter light for cooking to softer illumination for entertaining or ambient kitchen lighting.

Architectural Pyramid Design

The crisp pyramid silhouette creates a timeless focal point above the cooking area, while this configuration's Stainless Steel finish reinforces its clean architectural character. The broader JPH/C1 design can also be customized through published metal finishes, standard and premium colors, custom RAL colors and select decorative band or lip treatments.

Custom-Order Ventilation and Finishing Options

For a different duct route or lower in-kitchen motor noise, a custom-order remote blower can be placed on a roof, in an attic or on an exterior wall. Matching duct covers can conceal exposed ductwork, while optional VersaRails add professional styling and nearby utensil or cookware storage.⁴

Planning the Right Fit and Installation

Vent-A-Hood recommends a hood at least as wide as the cooktop and suggests 3 in - 6 in of extra width for optimal performance, an important factor when reviewing range hood sizing and airflow. The recommended mounting height is 30 in above the cooking surface for optimum performance.

The 900 CFM configuration has one 6 in and one 8 in round direct outlet; an optional VP562 transition combines them into a 10 in round connection.⁴ Covered outdoor installation is also supported when the hood is connected to a GFCI-protected branch circuit.⁵
