The Zephyr CHAL36ASX Alto 36 in wall-mount custom range hood enclosure from the Designer Collection combines a stainless steel body with included polished stainless steel banding and supports vertical and horizontal ducting. A compatible hood insert must be purchased separately.¹ Optional polished gold or polished copper hood and duct cover banding lets you shape the finish to your kitchen, while a separately sold stackable duct cover adds another way to tailor the look.

Tailored Stainless Steel Design

The stainless steel body and polished stainless steel banding establish the standard look, with banding included rather than added as an upgrade. Alto is where your vision takes shape - a custom enclosure crafted to elevate your kitchen with a tailored look that's entirely your own.

Choose Your Compatible Hood Insert

The hood body and operating insert are separate selections, so choosing the enclosure does not complete the ventilation system. Compatible choices are Monsoon Mini AK9134BS, Monsoon Mini II AK9534AS, Monsoon I AK9234CS and Monsoon Connect AK9434BS. Order the compatible insert separately as part of your installation plan.

Optional Stackable 12 in Duct Cover

The optional DC23612AS duct cover carries the stainless steel look above the enclosure and includes its own polished stainless steel banding. The 12 in covers are stackable to reach taller ceiling heights, so the duct cover selection can be planned separately from the hood body.

Optional Polished Gold or Polished Copper Banding

Custom design isn't a compromise - it's the whole point. Optional hood banding kits let you choose polished gold or polished copper instead of the standard polished stainless steel detail. Separate duct cover banding kits offer those same finishes when you add the optional duct cover.

Vertical and Horizontal Ducting

Both ducting directions are supported by the enclosure. Plan the wall-mount hood installation for a mounting height of 24-36 in above the cooking surface, and have a qualified professional installer perform the installation.
