Designed around universally recognized conventional installation dimensions, the 48 in Zephyr Monsoon II Insert AK9346CS brings pro-style ventilation to custom cabinetry or a tailored enclosure. Its stainless steel finish gives the installation a professional presence while the insert format lets surrounding cabinetry define the look. Because this model is non-recirculating, it vents through ductwork and accommodates either vertical or horizontal ducting to suit the planned route.

LumiLight LED lighting with TruHue makes it easy to shape the cooking environment with a touch. Select a color temperature from warm 2700K illumination to cool 5000K light, then use the dual-level setting to choose the amount of task lighting needed over the cooking surface. Five-speed electronic LCD controls put fan and light operation in one clear interface, while Airflow Control Technology (ACT) expands the ventilation control built into the Monsoon II platform.

Professional styling is also designed to be easier to maintain. Stainless steel pro baffle filters handle grease-laden air, and a removable grease collection tray helps simplify routine cleanup so the hood can retain its polished appearance. A removable trim kit supports the finished installation. The insert also works with the optional PBD-1200B 1,200-CFM dual internal blower kit and compatible make-up air kits MUA008A and MUA010A, providing component options for a planned ventilation system.
