The Abt Anniversary is a tradition we uphold to mark the beginning of our business 89 years ago. Our doors first opened in a much smaller location in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, where Dave and Jewel Abt opened a radio store. 89 years later, their four grandsons are running our single Glenview, IL location (and selling much more than radios). Each year, Abt grows a little more...or a lot more. In 2025 we're welcoming some changes to the store, including a massive expansion to our furniture department on the second floor of our atrium. This upgraded space will be available to browse in summer of 2025, but until then, you can see our entire collection.
