Abt's Commitment to a Greener Future

Happy Earth Day! Today is the perfect opportunity to reflect on our planet's health and our role in protecting it. At Abt, sustainability isn't just a buzzword reserved for one day of the year; it's a fundamental part of how we do business. From the solar panels on our roof to the bustling activity of our Recycling Center, every day is Earth Day at Abt.

Leading the Charge: Abt's Recycling Center

Nestled within our facility lies the heart of Abt's sustainability efforts: the Recycling Center. Here, advanced technology and dedicated staff work tirelessly to process a wide array of recyclables, from cardboard to electronics and more. Our commitment extends beyond recycling; we prioritize responsible disposal and working towards a greener tomorrow. You can drop off your old appliances and electronics here to ensure they're recycled properly.
Electronic waste (e-waste) poses a significant threat to our environment, contributing to pollution and landfill overflow. That's why we take pride in our Recycling Center, which processes millions of pounds of electronics each year. These numbers represent more than just statistics; they symbolize our effort to reduce waste and minimize our ecological footprint. In the past year alone, we've recycled a staggering:
  • 4.6 million pounds of cardboard
  • 600,000 pounds of Styrofoam
  • 22 million pounds of appliances
  • 1.2 million pounds of electronics
