With customers who live just across the street and many who live in
different time zones, it's easy to imagine that folks might have some
questions about Abt. A common one: where did the name come from? There's a
simple answer: it's the Abt family's last name! We've laid out some of our

1. Does Abt Price Match?
Yes,
Abt price matches for authorized dealers of products.Not sure if the price you're seeing is from an authorized dealer?
Usually authorized sellers appear on the manufacturer's brand page. If you have trouble locating that information, just give us a call at
800-860-3577 and we can assist you with determining if the store you would like to price match is an authorized seller.
2. What Are Abt's Store Hours?
Abt's store hours can be seen here.
We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and Easter.
3. Where is Abt Located? When I Call, Am I Speaking To Someone At That
Location?
Abt's locations and directions are available here. We are a Chicagoland store in Glenview, Illinois, and when you call in
to speak with someone, you'll be talking to an Abt employee right here at
our one and only location.
4. What Are Abt's Local Delivery Areas?
Our local delivery area is within 100 driving miles of our Glenview,
Illinois location. That includes parts of Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan
and Indiana. But that's just for local delivery, which can include the
benefits of local Abt employees delivering and installing your purchase.

across the continental United States. To see our

Michigan, of course) is our local shipping zone.

5. Does Abt Ship Out Of State?
Yes! Abt ships all across the continental United States, from California
to New York to Arizona and Florida. We've been known to make difficult
deliveries happen swiftly and easily. Our own trucks won't be able to make
it all the way there, but we have an amazing logistics department
dedicated to getting our customers what they order. Smaller packages are
delivered via UPS, while larger items ship via trusted third parties. Our
nationwide shippers are well vetted, and clients can opt for white glove
delivery to get as close to the Abt experience as possible. Enter your zip

6. What Kind Of Taxes Do I Have To Pay?
You'll pay sales tax
based on the tax rate of the state you ship to. If you purchase and pick
up a product here in Illinois, you will pay the Illinois sales tax rate.
7. Are The Products You Sell New Or Refurbished?
We sell both new and refurbished products! Unless otherwise noted, the
products you purchase will be brand new. But you can shop our collection
of
displays, open box and refurbished products here.
8. Why Can't You Ship Thermador, Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove Products To Me?
We have a contract with certain brands like Thermador, Sub-Zero, Wolf and
Cove that only allows us to ship their products within 100 miles of our
store. If you see a product from these manufacturers that you love, call
us at 800-860-3577 and we'll work to find a
solution or a similar product.
9. Does Abt Offer Discounts To Veterans & Seniors?
Yes! Abt has a
discount for military members, first responders, teachers and students
to save $50 off of $500. To learn more about who is included in the discount
(like military spouses, firefighters and teacher's aides) click the link
above. You can even use your discount when online shopping. Some exclusions
apply.
10. I Want To Recycle Here, How Does It Work?
Our Recycling Center allows anyone to come to Abt and recycle small
appliances and electronics for free, as well as larger electronics like
TVs and computers, for a fee. We also accept materials like wood pallets,
cardboard and styrofoam. To learn more about what we accept and do not

When bringing your recyclables, drive around to the north side of our building, then head southwest until you see the Abt truck that says "Recycling" in front of our Mobile Install studio. From here, you can either hop out of your vehicle and speak to someone inside at our Merchandise Pickup desk, or call us at 800-860-3577 and we'll send someone out to help.
11. Do You Allow Dogs In The Store?
Yes, we do! You can bring your leashed dog into Abt as you shop. We'd love to see them!
