CES 2026: LG Wallpaper TV
The LG Wallpaper television is back and better than ever at CES 2026. Designed with an ultra-thin frame and described by the brand as the world's "thinnest true wireless OLED TV", this model is back—and just 9mm thin. The LG Wallpaper TV, or LG OLED evo W6, cuts very few corners to reach that ultra-thin frame, too: explore everything that the new LG Wallpaper TV can do with us at CES 2026.
Meet the LG OLED evo W6
This isn't the first time we've seen the LG Wallpaper. In fact, this TV was first showcased in 2017. After almost a decade of innovation in the realm of TV technology, from improvements in OLED screens to AI, wireless connectivity and audio boosts, the True Wireless Wallpaper TV is back. This new version shows off exciting technology that sets it apart from any model at CES 2026—and that makes it a great candidate for an art TV. Anyone who knows televisions knows that LG is a huge name in the business, and year after year they find new ways to perfect different models, from their flagship G series to more budget-friendly models you could find in any home. LG has taken many of the TV innovations they've mastered and packed them into the Wallpaper TV.
Hyper Radiant Color Technology and Brightness Booster Ultra
The LG OLED evo W6 is stunningly bright—particularly for anyone who still thinks OLED TVs have a hard time reaching bright white levels. This flagship television is upgraded with incredible color-focused tech, like LG's Hyper Radiant Color Technology. With this, black levels, the full color spectrum and even brightness levels are brought to their best—all while keeping reflectivity at a minimum. Meanwhile, Brightness Booster Ultra pushes brightness higher and higher, nearly four times as bright as a classic OLED model. In the LG Wallpaper TV, you'll see all the benefits of an OLED, none of the drawbacks.
An Art TV, an OLED TV and a Wireless TV
This thin 9mm TV is perfect for wall placement, where it can perform as a wireless OLED art TV in any room. At CES 2026, we saw it recreate beautiful paintings by impressionist masters like Georges Seurat. When it comes to some artwork, some lighting and some rooms, photos of paintings can look dim and dark. But the LG Wallpaper TV infuses every brushstroke and pixel with brightness and color—something you might not have expected from an older crop of OLED televisions. Users can make the TV show what they want in LG Gallery+, where the screen becomes a display when you're not watching a movie or playing a game. Choose between over 4500 pieces of art, from impressionist favorites to modern photographs. Users can even craft their own generative AI works here. Thanks to the TV's slim form and OLED technology, whatever is displayed on the LG Wallpaper looks beautifully real. Alternatively, pair it with background music to create a mood that's perfect for the occasion.
Even better, the TV is almost completely wireless. Apart from a single power cable, anything you'd connect to a television is run through the Zero Connect Box. Plug in any HDMI and ethernet cords here and it streams right to the LG Wallpaper TV.
Slim, But Enough Room for AI
Even though the LG OLED evo W6 is slim, it's packed with power. Everything is powered by the Alpha 9 Gen 9 processor chip, while a mighty NPU handles AI tasks and upscaling. The brand's Multi-AI talents push this model beyond what you might expect, with integration for both Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini, as well as an AI Concierge that helps users find the content they want to watch. With voice recognition, the LG Wallpaper can even recognize who makes a request, then directs them to a personalized home screen.
The LG OLED evo W6 is sure to be one of the most exciting TVs on the floor at CES 2026, but the show is just getting started. Follow our coverage here on the Abt blog—and if the Wallpaper TV is ready to come to store shelves (and walls) you'll almost definitely be able to find it here at Abt.
