Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
- 1 cup of salted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cups of brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 cup of mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup of milk chocolate chips
- Maldon sea salt flakes
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar, about 3-4 minutes or until lightened in color.
- Add the eggs one at a time and mix well.
- Add in vanilla, baking soda and salt.
- Stir/mix in the flour until mostly combined. Then, add both kinds of chocolate chips and mix until fully combined.
- Using a cookie scoop, drop about 2 tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet. Repeat this step, placing each scoop about 1 inch apart, until no dough remains. You should be able to fit about 12 cookies per sheet.
- Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes.
- Once done, sprinkle the tops with a small amount of finishing salt, such as Maldon sea salt flakes, before letting them cool.
