One way to make your lifestyle greener is by investing in eco-friendly products, and Abt has plenty of them to offer. We're featuring three of our favorites today, including the Magnum Cosmo 2.0 Electric Bike. Whether you're commuting to work or enjoying an outdoor excursion, electric bikes are a great, green option as they're considered zero-emission vehicles. Vehicle emissions cause air pollution and smog that significantly affect public health and local habitats. By relying on lithium-ion batteries, you'll never have to worry about emitting these contaminants into the atmosphere when you ride. Lithium-ion batteries don't have any toxic elements and they typically last about two to four years, some even longer. This lengthy lifespan equates to less waste too, though most electric bike batteries are already 100% recyclable. The Magnum Cosmo 2.0 is equipped with a 17.5Ah battery, offering up to 60 miles of biking per charge. The 500-watt motor allows the model to reach a maximum speed of 25 mph as well.

LG
LG has committed its brand to sustainability and adopted six initiatives: “better earth, better circularity, better eco-products, better workplace, better society, and better access". They offer a wide selection of ENERGY STAR® certified appliances and in 2020, they managed to help American customers save up to $40 billion in energy costs. They even have their own recycling program with over 1000 drop-off locations in the United States.
Smeg
Kitchen appliances from Smeg combine low consumption with high performance and much like Miele, many Smeg appliances meet the highest energy efficiency class rating. When designing and manufacturing eco-friendly products, the brand also prioritizes materials like aluminum, brass, steel and glass as they're all simple to recycle.
Dualit
When designing products, Dualit always keeps sustainability and the environment in mind. They offer eco-friendly products like toasters, repairable electric kettles and industrially compostable coffee capsules. They also provide responsible packaging for all of their items.
Bosch
Bosch has a wide selection of ENERGY STAR® certified appliances including washers & dryers, wall ovens, mixers, dishwashers, refrigerators and stoves. While the 2025 winners have yet to be announced, Bosch has been awarded ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for the past four years. In 2020, the brand even managed to become climate neutral across all 400 global locations. Currently, they're working toward improving wastewater flows, reducing water withdrawal, increasing renewable energy use and more.

- All materials that come back from our deliveries (old products, packing material, etc.) are recycled.
- On our rooftop, we have 6,080 solar panels that produce 2.6 megawatts of electricity for our store.
- Our Recycling Center offers free recycling services to local customers, which includes electronics and appliances (various fees apply). In the past year, we've recycled over 1.4 million pounds of electronics and 22 million pounds of appliances. We've also prevented over 600,000 pounds of styrofoam from going to landfills and saved 4.6 million pounds of paper and cardboard from going to the dump.
