KBIS 2026: BlueStar's Color of the Year & Platinum Series Range

BlueStar unveiled their 2026 color of the year, Purple Violet, at their KBIS booth. Created with popular design firm Shumaker Design Associates, the entire booth features Purple Violet accents, custom hoods and bold backsplashes. At the heart of their booth is the newly relaunched Platinum Series ras range, a testament to the way BlueStar appliances balance aesthetics and performance.

BlueStar is known for their rainbow of customizable appliances (which you can see for yourself in our BlueStar kitchen). For 2026, the brand has chosen Purple Violet as their color of the year. It's rich and vibrant but also deep, a complex and striking shade of purple that outfitted appliances like a built-in refrigerator and gas range in their KBIS booth. A built-in refrigerator, for example, was stocked entirely with purple food and beverages for a fun touch.

One such appliance we saw in BlueStar's newest shade is their relaunched Platinum Series gas range. The gas oven is redesigned with faster preheating, improved performance and modernized controls, and the cooktop above features BlueStar's signature X-8 burners. Finished with brass hardware, the range looked and felt truly luxurious, the perfect centerpiece for any kitchen. The massive 60" range anchored one of the vignettes in BlueStar's KBIS 2026 booth, accented with a custom bronze and brass hood and marbled backsplash.
