Mark Honeywell was a young engineer who owned his own plumbing and heating company in the early 1900's. Beginning in 1904, Honeywell began to focus his efforts on making the perfect heat generator, and by 1906, he formed the Honeywell Heating Specialty Co. Incorporated, and thus Honeywell was born. Over the last 108 years, Honeywell has remained a staple in the heating industry, while also diversifying their company to include popular products like air purifiers, humidifiers, and thermostats.
