Build Your Dream Sound System with Solidsteel at Abt

Solidsteel was founded in early 1990 by music lover and creative craftsman Moreno Conti. Based in Italy, Solidsteel is the oldest audio/video furniture brand in the market, with over 90 different products to house plenty of A/V components and sold in over 30 countries. Their brand is dedicated to those most passionate and most dedicated to music and entertainment all around the world. Conti first started working in factories for his family company, which is where he first learned the best metal craftsmanship techniques and was accompanied with heavy machinery. His experimentation during this period was a huge step towards creating the first furniture for the Hi-Fi world. It was the end of the family company in the late 80s that allowed Conti to release his first audio furniture prototypes and truly begin what we now know as Solidsteel. These products were hand welded and featured details like clean paints, wooden shelves and turned spikes to help dampen audio vibrations. While Solidsteel's manufacturing techniques have evolved since then, the brand holds dearly to the artisan characteristics of their original products and they also remain family-owned and run by Conti's two sons, Gaetano and Manfredi. Today, their mission is to "serve the music and nothing else" by using the best materials for maximum audio functionality.

Provide Permanent Homes For Your Audio Devices

Abt carries a variety of Solidsteel products, including audio racks, amp stands, TV racks, record storage solutions and turntable shelves. The audio racks and amp stands come in different sizes and offer multiple shelves, some of them even modular to accommodate a variety of audio devices. These racks are ideal for audiophiles who collect multiple speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers and more to curate a truly immersive listening experience. Solidsteel audio racks and amp stands are made with a solid, supportive structure and promote minimum contact with your surrounding environment for the most excellent audio performance. They also feature a special anti-vibration system, as the stems are filled with damping material. Eliminating vibration in your music significantly improves the resolution of your audio. Abt also carries Solidsteel speaker stands, which are ideal for loudspeakers and central speakers, especially if you're using them in a home theater setting. While these stands don't come with the same damping material, the iron piping in the stands feature removable screws that allow you to add your own and enhance the sound.

Certain Solidsteel speaker stands are designed for monitor-type speakers, as these devices must be positioned at a certain height with high rigidity and stability to promote the best sound performance. If you prefer your home theater setup to house your TV and your AV amplifier, decoder, DVD/Blu-ray player and central speaker system all in one convenient location, then a Solidsteel TV rack is the way to go. Their Hyperspike Wide Series can accommodate all of this technology simultaneously while maintaining the most dynamic audio quality. If you prefer to listen to your favorite music the old-fashioned way, you may already be a turntable or record player owner. Why not enhance that setup too with a Solidsteel record storage rack? These racks can hold your Hi-Fi system as well as your entire record collection, each shelf housing up to 120 records, some featuring multiple shelves and levels for the more avid collectors.
