Glenview Store to Showcase 84-inch TV

Abt Electronics will be one of only 19 retailers in the country to have the new Sony TV Thursday.

If you're looking to experience Sony's new 84-inch 4k Ultra HD television in person, you can head to Abt Electronics in Glenview this week.

The store, at 1200 N. Milwaukee Ave., is among a group of only 19 retailers in the nation – and currently the only one in the Chicagoland area, that will carry the state-of-the art TV.

Abt is hosting a special preview event with Sony on Thursday from noon to 8 p.m. at the store which will showcase the television for the public.

In addition to gazing at the large screen, you'll also get to hear about the product from experts and ask any questions you might have.

The excitement for the TV to be in house is building, and Abt representatives say they are happy to have it available for residents to check out in person.

"It's an honor to be the exclusive launch partner with Sony for the Chicago area and appreciate them reaching out to us to showcase their new 4K TVs prior to the nationwide release," said Abt's co-president Jon Abt. "This is a leading edge technology that the team here at Abt is truly excited about."
